Not enough! We have 7-8 regular ones plus 7-8 that we use for the farm meals (cheap ones because they tend to not always come back).

Probably one less than knives and forks...I ran one down the disposal by accident.

not that many...because the kiddos do the dishes and they tend to throw them away when they are clearing the table.....

on a side note I just noticed yesterday that we are down to 4 knives----off to get some more
