Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
I am super slow.  My main issue is just plain old distraction.  If I scrapped away from my computer I am convinced I would scrap faster.  But I don't really mind being slow.  It usually takes me a few hours to do a page and like others have said, it helps tons to use a sketch.  I DO move my photos and embellishments around a ton before I decide... I usually have the entire LO set up just as I want it before adhering anything.

Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
I never know what I am going to do. I have colors in mind for the lo. But I have been know to go in another direction all together. I love to scrap, but the getting started is my big problem.

Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
Sometimes I automatically know what to do with a photo but normally I just waste a lot of time looking at the pic and then laying out a LO, to determine what I like. Once I have an idea.....I am rolling but, it has taken me a bit longer lately. I really gotta get back into the swing of things in 09!

I don't typically know what I want to do with it. I just open it up and start looking through my digi kits and go with the flow.

Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
My excuse is that I have a terrible time figuring what size to make which pictures, and then, which papers would be best.  It is all so overwhelming!  :)

Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
Usually, I will start out with the pics & then come up with a theme. Once that it done, I look for a sketch w/ the amount of photos I have.

Re: When you are ready to do a LO.....
Sometimes it goes together really quickly!!!!  Other times too slow......  It just depends on if I feel stuck or not.....sometimes the juices flow, sometimes I think the gears are stuck.  I scrap at my kitchen table, but at one end I have the white scrap cabinets that hold my stuff.  Try those!!!
