I don't know which is harder - watching my SF try to walk or eat or talk and being so frustrated that he is not in control of his body ......or watching my mother lovingly take care of him, knowing that she is at the end of her rope both physically and emotionally.

Big {{hugs}} to you. He has had major surgery and needs rest. I am sure after that long drive from New Orleans and all the stress that came along with it must have taken it's toll and he is exhausted. Maybe a few days of rest will help. Thinking of you.
