Cricut help
Any Cricut experts here? I've had 0 issues with this cricut maker for years. Occasionally my computer won't recognize it, so I unplug/restart it etc then it works fine. So yesterday my computer decides to not recognize it at all. I have googled and tried all the things. Restarted, uninstalled, unplugged everything, etc etc. I'm using the included usb cord with an adapter to my laptop. I've tried two different adapters, which have always worked in the past. Whyyy doesn't it work anymore, whyyyy 💔

Sorry it's giving you trouble, Rachel.  I don't have a Cricut so I'm of no help, but hopefully the other Cherries will have some suggestions!
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Re: Cricut help
Have you done any updates lately? Sometimes that will throw mine off. I have even uninstalled, and re-installed. If all else fails, call the cricut line. They are very helpful. (though not open on weekends) Good luck. I wish I could be more helpful.

Re: Cricut help
My machines are old and I've never used with their online software so I can't help with a newer machine. The only other thing I can think of trying if you haven't already is have you tried using a different USB port on your computer?

ETA: one other thought... I don't know what kind of cords they use but if it's basically a printer cable that you use to connect could you try another cable?

Re: Cricut help
You can go online at Cricut for help directly.  One time I had a similar problem and they told me they were fixing it and it would be ok in the am if not sooner, and it was.

And it's fixed! Do you know how we fixed it? Got my hubby (Matt) to look at it. He literally sat down, did a couple things (same things I did!) and then it worked. Whaat the what lol. I spent days trying to figure it out. He's just magic lol.
