Please keep my DH and our family in your prayers. His uncle (on his mother’s side) was the only living father figure he had since his Dad passed when he was 19. Uncle Butch passed at 2:40 am this morning. He has suffered for a long time with health issues, and he decided last week that he was not going to keep fighting in the hospital. He died peacefully, with hospice help, at home. There is never a good time to lose a loved one, but this time of the year is especially difficult. :(

So very sorry to hear this Laura. Many ((hugs)) to you and your DH. So hard to lose a loved one as it is, but just before Christmas makes it even worse.

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
