Oh how scary, Chris!! I hope you are feeling better and not in pain. Stitches anywhere but esp in the face are no fun. Do you have extra glasses?? Do you know about something called Arnicare bruise cream? It's something I used after my mohs surgery and it helped with the bruising, swelling, and pain. Hope you feel better! And don't worry about the challenges xoxo

Posting my December challenge and picking a winner for my November challenge. Yesterday I made the free turkey my friend gave me along with all the fixings. Other than a yogurt, I had nothing to eat. I’m not quite sure what happened but I fell in the living room on the left side if my face. We have hardwood floors and I got a substantial gash. Also I have low platelets so I was bleeding pretty bad. DH decided we should go to the ER to get stitches. We got there about 6:30 pm and didn’t get home until 4:00 am this morning. The place was packed. I eventually got a CT scan and thankfully no internal bleeding. I did get 5 stitches and I broke my glasses. So other than feeling kind of beat up, I’m okay but hanging in bed for most of the day. Thank goodness for my iPad.

Oh, my goodness, Chris!  I'm glad you are okay but sending prayers that you heal quickly.

I think I might feel a little worse today. The swelling and bruising are worse and my neck and shoulders hurt a bit. But my wonderful DH is taking really good care of me. We seem to switch roles every few months. I know I am blessed.

And I desperately want a shower and wash my hair but it was suggested to wait until Wednesday. Quite the smelly girl here!
