Birgit, this is my second annual Turkey Trot Event that will begin next week.  Turkey Trots are foot races held around Thanksgiving time every year.  I will be posting challenges and a couple of games.

I can hardly believe it's almost here! 

I grew up eating cranberry sauce out of a can. My mom had a cut glass dish it flopped into. We diligently followed the lines from the can as cutting directions. Nowadays, however, I love to make my own relish with nuts and orange and fresh cranberries. I don't mind the canned but the relish is kind of fun as the berries begin popping.

Hoping that I will be able to particapate this year - at least a little. Right now I am fighting a cold and haven't decided what we will do for Thanksgiving.
