Hey everyone, I finally have some happy news. I was supposed to go in for Chemo Treatment #10 today, but my Oncologist called early this morning and said she was very happy with my CT-Scan results from Friday. All tumors are shrinking and not solid. She had talked it over with Marcia who is my Nurse Practitioner who usually always sees me during my Chemo Treatments and they wanted to change me to Chemo Pills. I still had an office visit this morning with my Oncologist who is very good at explaining all the test results and makes copies of the scans and writes notes explaining that we can take home. So, I'll start taking the first pill today for 3 weeks and then change to a different pill for 3 weeks. Another CT-Scan in 3 months with lab work and a followup visit with my Oncologist.
Definitely believe in the power of prayer and good thoughts. Hugs everyone!
