Just another Saturday night here.  I got DH all settled in bed about 1/2 hour ago.  Lovely fire in the pellet stove keeping my feet warm.  Law & Order reruns marathon and crocheting a blanket for new grandson due in early spring.

First time in forever that it's just DH and I ringing in the new year.  Aaaahhh!  Peace and quiet.  Well, sort of.  He and I are watching an A-Team marathon until 11:30 then we'll switch to Dick Clark and watch the ball drop.  We have some snacks and sparkling cider. I'm sure as soon as it hits midnight Dh will be out like a light.  I will try to stay up until daughter and granddaughters get home. They said about 12:30.  That's it for my exciting celebration.

No big plans! The BIG game was on tonight so hubby watched it while I napped with the girls.

We are going to get our geek on for New Year's Eve lol. We will go see Rogue One around noon, or whatever the first showing is. Then later on we'll play some Dungeons  & Dragons and board games and have some snacks while we wait for midnight.

Enjoy Rogue One, Anne-Marie! We went to see it on Christmas Eve and it was really good! My son is a huge Star Wars geek (I mean that in the most endearing way ). lol 
 

Star Wars geeks are always endearing, hahahaha!! We loved the movie. Dh, ds, and I are big SW fans...DD not so much but she liked it. I cannot believe I have a child who is not enamored by Star Wars but there you go. I wore my Death Star shirt, DH wore his Darth Vader "I am your father" shirt. We embarassed the kids by making them take pictures of us next to the ROgue One display thingie. A good time by the parents, all around LOL!

IT'S A WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!! I LOVED IT!! 
 

Wasn't it fun? And now I can go read all the articles and spoilers LOL! But really, I was very pleased / surprised that it was as good as it was! And Dh loved Felicity Jones in The Theory of Everything so it's good to see her up and coming!

We went to a party, Today is my dh's birthday so going out to a big dinner tonight.
