Some of you know that my sweet Mazee has been fighting for the past several months with the loss of her eyesight and then diagnosis of cancer. More good days than bad until recently when she was snake bit and that triggered increased dementia and a fear of the stairs for her. She had pretty much come out of that last week, and she had a awesome week! I was able to get lots and lots of good pics of her. Saturday she was pretty low key and slept al ot. Sunday she woke up throwing up. It got worse thorough the day and she was not able to keep the medicine down either. She could not even keep down water, and even a few squirts with a syringe would come up. By late Sunday afternoon/evening she wanted to go and lay at the back of the property. I pretty much knew it was time to let her go. We got into the vet Monday morning Aug 29. She was in my arms and laid her head on my chest and then she went to sleep. She went to be with Merlin and now is off playing and running with all the cherries babies!
one of her nick names is Love and Light Mazee.... I Miss her SOOOO much.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet Mazee. Hugs for you.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
I'm so sorry Susan Just take comfort in knowing that she is no longer sick and her eyesight is back. She has lots of furbabies to great her too. She will be so happy. Hugs to you!!!

So sorry for your loss Sue - {{HUGS}} and prayers for you during this very sad time., Your pages are fantastic and really highlight what a special dog Mazee was
Susan, you know my heart goes out to you, and your furbabies. Mazee was a such a sweet girl and cancer just sucks. But I'm thankful she had an awesome week right before it was her time. Knowing that she's no longer in pain and can see and run and play is comforting. You know Merlin was waiting for her on the other side, as well as my baby Bear. They are gonna be best friends - especially with their shared love of the water/pool and food! I love your layouts of her. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Just remember I'm just a text/phone call away. Hugs and lots of love my friend!

Susan you know how much my heart has been aching for sweet Mazee and for you. I wish there were words I could say to help ease the pain you are going through. The only thing that helps is knowing that she is no longer suffering, and that she is with her Merlin again. I know my Boomie and Cider are probably there wagging their tags and playing with her too. Many, many hugs to you sweetie.
And all of your layouts of her are beautiful.
