And the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.  Tomorrow will be a few seconds shorter than today and then we lose a couple minutes a day as we travel towards the shortest day in December!  In short, after today we are on the downhill slide to autumn now!!!

Summer is kind of bitter sweet.  Love the longer days, relaxing activities, and NO school.  But at the same time the girls go to their mom's for 6 weeks and that I don't like.  But I am looking forward to the season.

I love the summer, we had rain and thunderstorms and a break this afternoon for a bbq and pool time. Just had another quick shower pass through.

We were over 100 degrees today. Yes, it is hot. BUT,  had to tell myself..... Remember when it is snowing and you want summer and vise versa.

Very hot here as well. Has been near 100, with heat indexes above that for a week now. BUT, I moved south to get away from the cold, so I will not complain!!!!! Bring on the BBQ's!!

I just hope yesterday wasn't a taste of summer. It rained...and rained....and rained.... Although, if it rains like crazy this week, that would be okay since we are staying home and recuperating...lol.

Ummm, No thanks for the reminder that the days are getting shorter!   Way to be a downer before summer even gets started! LOL  I can tell you must not live where it snows a lot during the winter or else you would hate those longer days during the cold crappy months of the year 

We haven't had much of a summer here yet. My daughter has been out of school for 11 days now and it's rained most of them and/or has been chilly. We have gotten one good beach day in, however.  She has physical training and summer basketball until July 31st and then we're on vacation for 2 blissful weeks at our lake home the 1st two weeks of August. Then it's home and back to work for me and for her to start training for fall soccer season and get ready for school on September 8th. I'm really hoping the "rainy season" ends soon so we can enjoy our weekends in July!

i wish some of you that are getting all that rain, would share a little in MT.  We are so dry, and going to be extremely HOT the state is so concerned about forest fires.  I don't want to see this beautiful state burning up!!!
