I absolutely cannot imagine the pain of having a child missing. Glad you didn't mind my update of your update! lol

One of my students, a 16 yr old girl, is missing. She hasnt' been seen since Saturday. It's a frantic situation because of several factors. For one, she is a recovering herion addict who just relapsed. She got out of treatment the first week in January and relapsed 2 weeks later. She started prostituting herself for heroin. She finally went to juvie and it all came out so some pretty disgusting older men are now in jail for giving her the drugs. She seemed like she had turned the corner this last week. She (and mom) are waiting on a pregnancy test to come back. She was on track to re-enter a different rehab on Monday with the hopes that she can pull her self out of this addiction. When I spoke to her on Friday, she was looking forward to rehab. She felt like if she was pregnant, it would give her a chance to change. She took off Saturday. We know she was talking with an older guy (22) who she has mentioned in the past. The fear we have is she was taken to a bigger city nearby and is prostituting for drugs. Mom is a real advocate for her and very involved. Please say a prayer and send positive thoughts that she is found....soon! Thank you!

***UPDATE***
I wanted to let everyone know that my student has been found. She was still in our town, hiding out with the older guy. She is safe, mom said she looked good and healthy. Right now she is in custody until a placement for rehab can be found. Thank you so much for all the prayers! God is good!!!

I am so very happy to hear she was found safe! I hope she can get the helps she needs now to move forward in life!!!
