35 degrees today, and I hate it. I want spring! However, I did find some type of growth along my side yard path...have no clue what it is (it wasn't there when we moved in last August). Will be interesting to see what shows up. DH thinks they look like gladiolas, but they wouldn't have survived the cold winter we had. And they would have been visible when we moved in. Time will tell......
Our weather was screwed up today....beautiful blue skies this morning..a little windy...but by late afternoon it was grey with snow flurries...no accumulation..but i've seriously had enough of it already..i want to play in the dirt!
Even in North Texas it's unseasonably cool. 45 and has rained most of the day. Supposed to rain tomorrow and then Friday we'll have sunshine and 73 degree weather. Good thing, 'cause our flowers from Cottage Farms just arrived today and they need to be planted asap!!

LOL, look who you asked! MY DH who always swears it's hotter than it really is! He runs his window a/c and I have to show him it's actually cooler outside than what he has that a/c set on!!

OH NO! Your poor Mom! My dh has his own window a/c even though our house has a central unit. Otherwise we'd all freeze!

I noticed my Amarillo is blooming! It has hit the 70's today. What flowers are first to bloom where you live? We have daffodils and our azaleas look so pretty but only for a short time.
Debbie
Crocus is the first, followed by daffodils, then the hyacinth and tulips. My sister said the frost got most of (our) bulbs -

Yes! Poor Mom is right. She's one strong woman. Probably explains why she doesn't like leaving my house when she visits
