We watched the news tonight and they really covered the late snow storm. It looked beautiful and to me wonderful after our 93 on Sunday. LOL I far prefer the cooler late fall and winter weather, even the rain but then again we do not have snow here.

I am right on the coast in SC, and the extreme cold and snow missed us thank goodness. But we did drop enough to have freeze warnings put out, VERY rare this time of year, and I actually broke down and turned heat on for a bit to take chill off.

No snow in S. GA. The temp has been in the upper 60's.

that would really suck. Almost summer and a snow storm - even if it did melt off fast.
I agree and the worst part is they are usually really heavy snow falls that damage the trees. So glad I'm not there.scrappininAK wrote:that would really suck. Almost summer and a snow storm - even if it did melt off fast.
Here on Long Island we did not get the snow, just tremendous rain. A real soaking!
we drove our way out of it. we were in the WV, VA, MD area when it hit and started as rain. woke up in the morning and it was really cold and getting colder. I was just glad to not be there for any longer.
No we just got a lot of rain and it got cooler here. Hope it warms back up soon.
