It is so sad! I am glad my children are out of school. I guess it just goes hand in hand with the overall decline of things in this country. What will it take for people to open their eyes and make a change? Prayers to all the families.

It is very sad. We never had this problem when I was in school. And that wasn't very long ago either! Graduated in1998.

I'm a year behind you, and being less than 30 miles away, had to deal with the aftermath of Columbine my Sr. year. I was so happy to be done with school, probably more than I would have been if it hadn't happened. It is so tragic that people end up doing things like this to each other and that this is becoming so much more common

I just can't understand what goes through a person's mind to make them do this. How horrible. I too am glad my girls are done with high school.

I just don't understand either....and I have a DD in college and I have 2 in elementary school and one will start school this fall.....so sad to see this happen in our society

the problem is it is not on high school grounds anymore - work places, college and military bases. I just don't understand the people who do this either. What could possess a person?
