Working away this afternoon on a layout - reached for my paper piercer - didnt get a good grip on it and slipped right out of my hand point first. Naturally the point went into my finger and drew blood, but worse it sort of bounced as I tried to grab it and flipped point first into a 2nd finger. It is not easy to finish the final details on a layout with two band aids on two fingers on one hand. LOL

Two pokes with one drop! Dang, once is bad enough! Take care and no bleeding on the LO's! Seriously though, so sorry you hurt yourself. It's a reminder for all of us to be carful with our tools.

Ouch! It really can be dangerous... I've been banged, poked, taped, burned, glued and bumped so far. Please be careful.
I always say that if anyone broke into my house I could really hurt them with my scrappy supplies, lol

Sorry hon...here's hoping to a quick recovery of your fingers. When I was in beauty school 11 years ago one of the first things they taught us was not to reach for our scissors if we drop them. Which sucks to watch your $200 pair of shears fall in slow motion and hit the ground, because it usually means that you have to get them sharpened before they cut right again. So I still reach for them, partly out of habit, and partly because it will cost me money.
