Smiles: I had wonderful women in my class today who played and learned and had fun. I am so blessed to get these students . My dd brought all the kids up to the lss as I was setting up and I got to smooch on all of them a bit. Then it was off to Stamp Fest where I dropped about half of what I made teaching...lol. LOST COAST stamps...omg! Amazing. And the best part, I got to spend the day with 3 of my 4 or 6 favorite local scrappy pals who make me laugh and whom I adore!

And to have so many women turn out yesterday for the closing of the TIKI BAR...thank you from the bottom of my heart...and Ann's post to day brought lumps to my throat...sigh! (as my dear pal, Pam puts it!)

Frowns: not a cloud in my sky!

Smiles: Spent the day w/DH pulling up the old tile on our kitchen floor. Why is that a smile, you might wonder? Well, we bought tile for it back in August of 2008 (yes, that isn't a typo) and he is finally motivated to get it done! Of course, I enthusiastically said Yes to helping!

Frowns: none......except maybe my back may start hurting.......

Smiles: Have the day off and met up with some of my Norwegian girlfriends and had lunch at church

Frowns: got our taxes for 2011 done..... did not get back even half of what we did last year

Smiles - I am in my scrap room all day today and so far I was able to finish 4 of the Team Cupid Challenges. This is the first time ever that I have done any of the challenges. The night is young and I still have a few more that I might try.

Frowns - I did have to go out 2 times today and it was only 1 degree. Usually that doesn't bother me, but it has been so warm this winter, this was too cold. The wind behind it makes it feel like it is well below zero.

Smiles: Got a Triptik done from AAA for our trip to NC, VA and talked with my sis Cheryl about it this morning. Where we are going, what things we might want to see on the way and when we'll come back. She's coming up the 29th and we'll leave from here on the 1st. We'll fly back on the 9th, so we have lots of time to enjoy the grandkids and see some sights.

Frowns: hoped to find some new jeans and pajamas since we'll need 'em for the trip, but couldn't find anything today. We'll go out next weekend.

Smiles~ Finally was able to get with my boss/ friend (studio owner) and get some things for competition girls. Their first performance is next weekend! We needed some things from Hob Lob and DH gets a discount on top of the coupon we used for the material we bought! We also decided to eat out for dinner, so no dishes to clean up!!! Whoo Hoo! Plus tomorrow is An Affair of the Heart shopping day! Sooo excited.


Frowns~ Its sooooooooo cold! Gonna freeze my tushie off going thru the fairgrounds between buildings tomorrow. Plus no a whole lot of money to spend either.

frowns: dh got today off at the last minute (because he has to work his day off next week) and he spent the day on the couch claiming to be sick. As far as I can tell his nose is runny but I haven't seen anything else.

Now my throat is scratchy and my ear is killing me

Smiles: Loved the wind today! It was blowing in from the Gulf and making waves by the dock. Too windy to fish, but it created quite a view. It even looked like the eagles were having a tough time flying.
Frowns: none, but it's been a LONG week.

Smiles---did some power shopping of my own today in civilization, got valentines for the 3 men in my life and a few great deals at Kohl's----jeans for my 17 year old were $3.68!!!

Frowns--did not got any laundry done, so tomorrow after church my washing machine and I have a date

Smiles: I was scrapping at the LSS today. So much wonderful!!! Got one LO done, worked on several other LOs and had un with my BFF, debamas from here at ACOT.


Frowns: I was trying to order pics from Walgreens.com but I have so many pics on my computer in several folders. Tried to move them to a folder tht is "To Be Printed" but somehow (I don't know how) when I checked that folder some of the pics said (underneath) that they were Copy (19). Now how did that happen? Honestly, 10 copies of the same pic! 19 on some. So, now the folder that is supposed to help me sort out the pics I want to have printed is polluted with multiple copies of the same pic. Not one after the other but alllllllll mixed up! Why does life have to be so hard? I spent several hous trying to delete them and still have more than 3/4 of them to go. Extremely frustrating!

SMILES - I had a day with my dh. The whole day - not just a half day. We went to an OU women's basketball game.

FROWNS - knee is killing me tonight, but I can deal.

Smiles: I spent the afternoon on the couch with Baby Emma. She was sleeping, I was vegging and watching a movie. Such a great feeling.

Frowns: Didn't get a scrappy thing done today! Sigh....

Smiles-- Our income tax was in the bank and I finally got to go shopping and I stocked up on everything. Went to a going out of business sale at my lss and got 81 dollars of stuff for 16 dollars!!! Spent the whole day with my dh!

Frowns--none!

Smiles: Spent the entire afternoon/early evening with my 2 scrappy friends. SIL got home after work at 1:30, and her sister (who happens to be my BFF, too) also came over around noon to hang out. DH made his 7-layer dip and it was oh so good! I did 8 layouts, 5 of them are for challenges. Just need to get them uploaded.

Frowns: Neither DH and I wanted to cook so we were going to go out. But the expedition wouldn't start. My brother is a mechanic and he thinks its something simple, which they will take care of on Sunday. I hope so. So we had to borrow their car and just ran down to Sonic for burgers.
