It's all about the stickles for me. I love having glitter on the page without the mess. I will use loose glitter once in a while but I always have a hard time getting it back in those little containers.

I'm not much of a glitter gir.....but stickles all the way....I too can't get the glitter into the containers without having it all over my desk, my face, etc..

I agree about the stickles. Love them too.
I work at a store that has a lot of glitter stuff at Christmas. I always say we should get battle pay for working with it.

I am a stickles freak...but I also love my loose glitter. Could not live with out it.

I have not liked loose glitter since I was in girl scouts....IT GOT EVERYWHERE!

I bought some last Black Friday sale here at ACOT along with some flocking. I open the draw their both in....take a look and close the drawer. I've even pulled each one out a couple of times.....and within the hour it's back in the drawer!!! Grrrr......total block over the mess and I have the really cool tray to get it back in the bottle.

So for now <hangs head> I will stick to stickles and maybe some Clear Accents so the glitter won't fracture off what I put it on.

I use both as I have a wide mix of colors. What I don't have color wise in Stickles, I do in loose glitter. I will share my trick to keeping the mess at a minimum. I have several 12 x 12 white sheets from post bound albums. I don't scrap on those but keep them for the messy jobs I do. When I use loose glitter, I will have one of those sheets on my work mat. I will do the job and then flick off the excess onto the 12 x 12 sheet. Pickup the sheet, pinch the edge into a V and pour back into my vial of glitter. To clean up the excess, I have a baby wipe close at hand.


Stickles can take a while to dry so if I am in a hurry and want it done quick, I will bring out the heat gun to help dry it.

Loose glitter is too messy for me. I make enough of a mess to begin with. That stuff winds up all over everything in sight. Give me stickles!

I have both but they just sit there looking pretty and unused. I may not have scrapped in awhile but that didn't keep me from shopping. Sigh...

I am not sure if the is true or not but someone once told me if you wipe down something with a static cling sheet the glitter will not stick. Again I have not tried this just heard it.

i have about 12 jars of glitter (yeah for an end of season clearance sell) that i bought before i found stickles....now it's just sitting there because i don't want to be bothered with the mess
