The photograph for my LO was obtained from a Texas wildflower website. Bluebonnets are our state flower and there absolutely gorgeous. Bluebonnets bloom along the roadsides and in wide open fields every year around Easter time. Anywhere from late March to early April. I couldn't let this Easter season pass without sharing this beautiful site with all of you.

I won't be making a trip to the hill country, but I live in the country. LOL Usually we have fields covered in bluebonnets all around us. We even have some on our property, so I'll be taking photos here. I've seen a few already popping up here and there, but since Easter comes early this year, they aren't in full bloom yet. With all the rain we've had, I'm thinking in about another week the landscape will be covered with Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brushes. They are so gorgeous. I think everyone who lives in TX probably has family photos made in the Bluebonnets. Hope you get to make the hill country trip and get some great pics.
