I thought I'd drop by my LSS when I was downtown today and it has closed - no sign or anything. Guess I'll be doing ALL of my scrappy shopping online now - better start earning those 5000 points

oh wow that stinks! I mean, I do almost all of my scrap shopping online (here of course) but still it stinks that they didnt let you know, and it IS nice once in a while to be able to go fondle the goodies in person before buying

That seems to be the trend nowadays. All the surrounding stores in my area have closed down too. But there is hope someone else will reopen one as is the case now in my area. Two of the stores previously closed down have new owners and will be opening this month and will be including crops and classes. I miss that about LSS.

That sucks!! our local places closed too. There are a few in cities nearby but I like to buy online too.

that is a bummer! SO many are closing their doors. it really is sad, but I am so happy that we have such a great place to get all the latest and greatest right here at ACOT!!!!

that really stinks...mine is open, but lately has not had anything at all.....like she has not purchased anything new in the last year.

That is a bummer!!!!!!! That happens a lot here too. The little shops here just don't seem to be able to sell enough to keep the rent up. So I have to
just (have ) to keep shoping here to complete my addiction!

I stopped by my lss last night bought a few things i needed. I do most of my scrap buying here. I just like to give my lss some business, so it will stay. You never know when you need something fast.

I feel your pain!! There is a smallish shop very close, but I refuse to step foot in the door. The owner wears her politics on her sleeve and has apparently no realization that there are others out there who do not believe as she does and may be offended by her unsolicited opinions. I was so uncomfortable at the crop I went to there that I almost blew off the crop fee and walked out after a couple hours just because of her comments. I'm saving up those ACOT points too!!
