As much as I can, it is amazing what one can gain from listening in. Unfortunately the older I get the worse my hearing gets.

Years ago, my dh had a police scanner and we always had it on at night to help us fall asleep - I could tell you stories!!!!


But at some point we found it could pick up calls on cordless phones in the neighborhood - so yeah - I heard some people having sex over the phone, and another person cheating on his wife. These were not people we knew.

yes, but I cannot help it... every converdation my coworker has at work is a "private" conversation (her mom, her dad, her sister, her bff, her bf, etc) and we are stuck together in a very small room I now have an IPOD

Yes, every time my DH gets on the phone with one of his relatives. The conversations are better than an episode of Days of Our Lives!!!!

Yep...my son who is now 17. I used to catch him on the phone and listen in...and I'm glad I did. He was/is a very ornery fellow! One conversation ended with him getting some soap in his mouth!
