Good on you that you didn't freak out, I think I would. Glad she wasn't seriously hurt. And yes, rocks do seem to be a dangerous thing for kids to play on. Have you thought about replacing the rocks with wood chips? They are a little more cushiony than rocks at least.

OMG, bless her little heart. I know is had to be frightening with all of the blood. Hope she gets better soon.



Glad she's doing ok. I split my lip when I was about 5. My mom loves to tell this story. I was running around after being told not to and ran into the bathroom and hit my mouth on the marbell counter top. I ended up in the hospital getting stitches. My teeth were fine. She says she didn't panic, but my dad paced the hospital floors and neither of them would sit in the room while they stitched me up. Needless to say, I got a lot of stuffed animals after that.
