 Here goes... I may be sorry I asked, but I'm going to do it anyway.  We can't grow without some constructive criticism, so I'm asking for the truth here and nothing but the truth.  It won't hurt my feelings.  Well, not for long anyway.LOL  With that being said, please go to my layouts and look at the LO out I did for the Going to the Dogs or Cats contest.  It's pictures I did in memory of my kitty Fizz.  I noticed the other LO's in the contest have nice compliments under them.  Mine only has one compliment, so I'm wondering what have I done wrong?  I'm older than most of the people on the board, so maybe I'm a little old fashioned and not up to date with my scrapping techniques.  Bring on the criticism~~~what did I do wrong?  What would you have done different?  Be gentle or be brutal, but most of all, just be honest.

 I love the layout! I'm sorry I haven't commented before. I haven't been in the gallery in a few days. But seriously, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that pear tree! I think a Cricut is a scrappy girl's best friend! Great LO! I don't think there's anything wrong with it!

I'm thinking that time of day and lack of activity in the gallery caused it to not get as many comments? I know that sometimes when I post layouts it can take three or four days before I get lots of comments on them. It's definitely not your layout thats lacking in any way!

 I agree with Laura. I haven't gone back to look at your page but I've noticed that there haven't been comments on very many pages at all in the last few days and even then if you upload at a certain then your page will get buried underneath a bunch of other pages really quickly. I'm not sure why this happens.

Tomorrow I'm setting aside a lot of time to catch up myself and I know that there are several people who set aside a time to do this too.

I've been trying to spread some love when I have free time, since I've noticed that there hasn't been as much love going around in there lately.  I've only been here since the crop, so I figured the amount of activity was dying off.

And is it just me or does the digital gallery not get as much love as the regular LO gallery?

I think it's beautiful.  I don't know how I missed it in the gallery, but clearly I didn't do a good job of traveling back through.  I agree with the others that sometimes the gallery action just seems dead, and the day and time that you post sometimes has a lot to do with how many comments you end up with.  I left you a comment

ok, here is my opinion. actually not my opinion but my personal preference. Now first of all I have only done 2 LO's in my life. Actually I am having a hard time replying to this, I don't want to offend anybody. This is what think... if it turned out the way you wanted it to and YOU are happy with it, then that is what is important. There is no way everyone is going to love or even like some of the stuff we create. There are elements in your LO that I love (the tree) but for MY personal preference it is too busy. I kind of get lost in it. On the otherhand the LO I did is very very plain compared to everyone elses and my lack of experience shows. I wanted to try scrappin for the fun of it. I hope I never lose sleep over what other people said or didn't say about something I created.  Ok, that is my Honest opinion. I hope I am not offending all your pro's out there.... I am almost nervous to post this... here goes!

 I think it's a cool layout- I've never commented on any layouts, I just look at them to see what I can rip off for my own.  Having said that, don't worry about what other people think of your layouts- if you love it, that's what matters!
