Mine is usually for a movie or tv show, but only gets changed about once a year, lol. At work we're not allowed to change our wallpaper.
I have a rotating bunch of Chococat wallpapers that I use from the Sanrio website.
Mine is a picture of a CH-53 Marine helicopter lower a supply load over afghanistan. My brother took it, as a Pilot of one flying just above. I love it, and it makes me think of him often. I change my background when I have a picture that I just have to have in front of me all the time.

Mine is a picture of my friends little girl from Nov. It needs to be changed but I love the pic. I haven't seen her since then and that is driving my nuts. But between them being busy and me being busy it just hasn't happened.
On my home computer is a photo I found on the internet, it is a Civil War reinactment scene with a horse that I liked. On my work computer is a close-up picture of my horse showing her teeth which is a picture I took (that picture is very fitting since I am staying home today as my horse has a dentist appointment!).
I do change them when I find something that fits my mood. Sometimes a family or vacation photo and sometimes my horse or horse related. Don't tell my doggies!

My work computer is a generic Windows one (Bliss), on my new laptop it's the standard Windows background (just haven't taken the time to change it yet) and my old laptop is a picture of one my Dad's favorite fishing spots.

Whenever I take a picture that I really like it ends up as my wallpaper. Right now it's a picture of Alex playing out in the snow.
Mine is usually a horse photo that I took. Right now it's a flower.

I'm not saying forget what you lost
I suppose there's a purpose in pain
What we make of ourselves has a cost
And it's paid every time we take hold of the reins

I change several times a year. I did have a winter background, but got sick of seeing the snow. So now I have Sunflorers. I love Sunflowers.
Mine is a pict that came with the computer, I just haven't changed it. my screen saver is beautiful swirling squilles.

At home it' been the same one for a long time, and will prob stay the same for a lot longer. It's a Jack Skellington BG from nightmare before Christmas and I love it, so it stays.
At work though, I change it every once and awhile, to different scrapbook pages I've made, usually ones with my cats in it. And I do tend to go with the season or holiday for a theme on the page.

Desktop background? it's in the gallery - valentine's with DH...
I don't do screensavers. They take up too much electricity to power up and down.

At work, it's a picture of my kids. At home it's a beautiful, relaxing picture of a bathtub. It just looks so heavenly I haven't been able to change it.
Ours is a grassy scene...I'm ready for the teletubbies to pop out any moment.

I change mine seasonally from the choices that came with the computer. Right now it's a snowy mountain at twilight. But I'll probably be changing it to a spring one soon!
