There is a song Robert Downey Jr. does on the Ally McBeal Christmas CD and it's called The River that I absolutely love.
I think a lot of people done it. But I'm not sure if it's really considered a Christmas song.
But a traditional favorite would be Blue Christmas by Elvis.
Up on the house top, click, click, click! I love that song!
Other than that I love anything Christmasy that Bing Crosby sings.

One of my favorites is the song from Charlie Brown Christmas Special. I also am fond of the twelve days of Christmas.
Traci I agree with you about The River by Robert Downy Jr. and it IS considered a Christmas song. Last year there was another remake on Herbie Hancock's album by the same name and it, too, is amazing!! It features Corrnine Baily Rae.
I really like Carol of the Bells by The Bird and the Bee. It's almost hauntingly good.
But, I could listen to good holiday music 365 days of the year so I like pretty much anything.
These are two of my favorite songs too.Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie & Bing Crosby
Mary did you know - Clay Aikin

O Holy Night and it doesn't matter who sings it. I'm listening to Canon Rock and that is very nice too.
Heidi
Silent Night.
My favorite is Do You Hear What I Hear?
- Angie - Come read my blog!
I dont have A favorite...I love all Christmas music. But The Christmas Shoes brings me to tears every time I hear it.
Shari
I don't know the name of it, but I love the one that goes, "Mary, did you know..."
---Jan---
I don't have 1 favorite. I have a small group - mostly religious: Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie & Bing Crosby, Silent Night, Mary Did You Know and anything sung by Burl Ives.
the first one that comes to mind is
Rockin' Around the christmas tree (don't know if thats the name)but its the one played in Home Alone.

I love Silver Bells even though it is from an old silly Bob Hope movie.
And Elvis' Blue Christmas or just about any Christmas song on Elvis Christmas album
