 There is a song Robert Downey Jr. does on the Ally McBeal Christmas CD and it's called The River that I absolutely love.

I think a lot of people done it.  But I'm not sure if it's really considered a Christmas song.

But a traditional favorite would be Blue Christmas by Elvis.

 Traci I agree with you about The River by Robert Downy Jr. and it IS considered a Christmas song. Last year there was another remake on Herbie Hancock's album by the same name and it, too, is amazing!! It features Corrnine Baily Rae.

These are two of my favorite songs too.

I really like Carol of the Bells by The Bird and the Bee. It's almost hauntingly good.

But, I could listen to good holiday music 365 days of the year so I like pretty much anything.

 my absolute favorite is none other than the classical christmas
 music version of Pachelbel's "Canon in D" called CANON ROCK
 (click link) which is performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra .

 - "Carol of the Bells" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
