 ok who braved the mess and went out today? I got up and was tempted and then chickened out. I really didn't have the $$ for it and am not buying much this year..but the temptation is always there.  My x took Megan out and bought her three "business suits" for job interviews and some shoes and spent a bundle on her. WHich was really cool. Finally after my sister, my niece and my neighbor called..I got dressed and went. David even went with me!! LOL Picked up a few $4 movies at target, jingle bell collars ( $1 in the bargain bin, I couldn't resist them ) and a few extras and then I went to Sams. Megan is graduateing from College on the 20th of next month and I got her a Nikon Cool Pix..a very nice one and it was the last one left for $119.00. It kind of stinks that she is graduating 5 days before xmas, but so happy and proud of her.

I didn't go out this morning, and I wasn't planning to go at all.  Then I saw the coupons for J's and M's and thought... hmm...  So I may go this afternoon, but mostly to stock up on supplies for me!  We're doing most of our holiday shopping online this year...

 I decided not to do the huge sales this year - I probably will visit Joanns, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby this afternoon!

 I did not go out today but last night we went to Michaels.  I got 5 cricut carts. for $30 each.  And they had the new Cars and Tinkerbell carts too.

 I really would have loved the bargains, but I can't stand the crowds! So no, I didnt' do it!

I did get up early, though, to help my dd get her car in to the shop...her check engine light showed up yesterday, and she has to drive back to school tonight!

 I didn't go out, but my DH braved a trip to Archiver's to get a Clip-it-Up for me for Xmas. He said he was the only man there, and the women were laughing at him, and thinking he was sweet for being there.

 HI, I got up around 9am.. went to Younkers..walked around a bit.. so much chaos, that I picked up 3 items, got in line and waited like 20 minutes to check out. I was contemplating Menards, when I said screw it. Just isn't worth it. The little bit I'd save isn't worth my sanity.. and they always have good sales up until Christmas.. heck, online bargains are to be found too.
I think tomorrow morning I'm going to wake up early to go to Joanns. they have a 20% off entire purchase coupon and I want some DMC floss for my Bazzill stitches, it's 4/1.00 and possibly something to store them all in.

I don't know how people fight the crowds all day. i just don't have the patience anymore.. or maybe its this year there was nothing exciting enough to wake up for..

 I went to one store and got 40% off my entire purchase.  I went to Ritz and got a camera and 3 4G SD cards for  $60 with a $60 mail in rebate.  Unfortunately my Nikon won't take the 4G .  I know they are basically free but who knows when I'll get the rebate card.  They promised me my SLR could handle a 4G card and it is too old.  I went to Target to get th $22 Razor scooter but all they had was red and I need pink or green.  I may hit KMart later.  All in all it was worth the trip.

Nope stayed in today.....didn't get much done but it was better than facing those wild crowds!

 I did.  My girls had never been out on Black Friday so we all got up at 4:00am and went out.  First stop Wal-mart.... INSANE!!!!  But I did manage to get the cricut expression for my mom.  It was only 199 and came with an alphabet (Plantin I think) and the home decor cartridges.  I have never seen it so crazy!  I went last year and it wasn't nearly as bad.  There were tons of people loading up on big LCD tv's.  So many that I caught myself thinking...hey...maybe I need one of those..... even though I don't.  NUTS!

Then we went to Target and older DD got a guitar hero game with two controllers for our new wii for 100 bucks.  good deal.  Younger DD bought a digi camera.  Then they bought some gifts for family too.

Then I went to Macy's to pick up a gift for my niece and ended up buying myself some clothes for dirt cheap.  Like 9.99 a pair for really nice pants!  I had Gastric by-pass in June and am down to about two pair of black pants, one pair of jeans (bought them in Denver last month....haven't worn jeans in 25 years)  and 6 shirts so I figured even though I have some left to lose I really needed to get something to wear.

Anyway, we had fun laughing at all the stupid people and the little old ladies running through the parking lots into the stores.  Felt sorry for the clerks, though. 

Ended our trip with starbucks and breakfast with DH (went back home to get him cause he WONT go out.  Says he'd end up killing someone for being rude and stupid.

 My DH left at 5:30 this a.m. for Camp Shelby so we were up anyway... we (ds and me) didn't stay out too long, there wasn't  a lot that we needed but we managd to get a few things marked off of our Christmas list.

 I can't drive yet since my cervical surgery, but I didn talk my husband in to taking our youngest and I to Walgreens ten minutes before the buy one mini Webkins get one free deal was over. Now she has some gifts for friends, and one for herself.

 I did! Went to Kohl's at 4am and got 20 items for $160. We were in and out in an hour and a half. Not too bad since most of that time was waiting in line to check out. Got a chunk of my Christma shopping done. Now, I just have to get gc to Target for my brother and his family, little stocking stuffers, and a gift for my dad (who is the hardest person to shop for...)

I did, for the first time ever. Got up at 4:30 and went to walmart...big mistake!! I only went for the xbox 360 with guitar hero 3 for $199. Got there at 5:10 and they were all gone! By the time I got back to electronics, only to be told to go back up front for a tag, they were gone. There were so many people it was CRAZY!!! So We went to Penny's  for socks and the free globe, went out for breakfast and came home for a short time until the lss opened up at 9:00. I jumped on walmart.com just to see what they had, same exact deal for same price plus $12 shipping. Should have saved myself the trouble and checked on line first thing this morning. Went to the lss and got the magnetic cutter with the mat, and circle cutter and magnets for 40% off. I told my dh that he did good on my christmas present..lol!!

 Dh and I got up at 4 to get a GREAT deal on a cruise, 7 days for $250 a piece!!!!  Then we promptly went back to sleep.  I did run out to Sears to get two of my girls coats that they needed and a couple of other things that I saw there but didn't do that until 10:30.

 So we're staying at my son's house while they are away and I looked at all the ads, made my list and dh and I were supposed to get up at 5:00 so we could get al our shopping done early, visit the mil and drive the 2 1/2 hour drive home.  We don't have all these stores at home - so I really needed to get my shopping done!!

Couldn't fall asleep last night (nothing new) but finally nodded off and woke up with my dh shaking me telling me it was 9:00 a.m.!!!!  OH NO!!!!!!!!!

So we got out of the house by 10:00 - first stop Kmart - they had the digital frame I wanted for 49.99 but not the cordless phone.    Went to Target next - they were out of the Garmin nuvi, the games I wanted and the air hog remote helicopter.  But I did pick up a cordless phone there.  DH went next door to Office Max to see if they would price match the camera I wanted but they didn't have it.  Target wouldn't price match it either. 
So we started to drive to Office Depot and noticed a Walmart next door.  I knew they had Garmins for $97 but really didn't think they would have any left either but we tried.  They had them!!! but we had to stand in a long line to get to them.  We bought 2 after a half hour wait (one for me and one for my son), then went to Office Depot to get the camera - they were out, but the one across town had 2 - but they were not allowed to call and have one held.  So we drove across town and they had the camera!!!  Just a short line to pay for it.  Went out to breakfast, then a produce store and then back to my son's to pack and feed the cat.  Ended the day visiting mil, trying Kohl's (with long lines still at 3 PM - didn't buy anything) and then across the street to Archiver's.     We finally got home around 6 pm.  And I placed my Black Friday order here at ACOT!!!!

 We started at midnight at the local outlets, then hit penneys, kohls, target, ac moore, joanns, michaels, the mall, pier 1, bed bath and beyond and a few other stores. Got a ton of shopping done, including some great deals for myself. We had a ton of fun and only saw a few crazies we laughed at.

 I did my shopping right here at ACOT! Got exactly what I wanted with no fuss or long lines.

 I agree with Becky's DH and Laura -  do NOT like crowds.  We are visiting family and I was tempted to invite my mom to go to Kohls at 4:00, but then decided to be realistic - I am not getting up that early to shop.  But then DSs were up that early anyway.  So happy for those of you who got great deals and lived to tell about it!
