Furry loves the song "Christmas Shoes". It's her very fave. Maybe I should call her and play it for her.
I love Andy Williams! Listening to him reminds me of my great childhood...
He came to Seattle a couple of years ago...I wanted to go SO bad, but dh said we couldn't afford it or something. He had no idea what that would've meant to me...

I love Elvis ' Blue Christmas'
Years ago I had it on my answering machine - at the time I was living far from my family - I loved it! My mother hated calling me -

I don't have a certain christmas song but christmas was always my grandmothers favorite time of year and we were always together. Well on Saturday my grandmother will be gone for 4 years and the family isn't the same without her. So as you can imagine this time of year is very tough for me. So I guess everything Christmas is sentimental for me.
TIA

Please DO NOT say the Crosby/Bowie one. Please. I might have to put you on 'warn' if you do And anyone else who puts Christmas Shoes on their list.
I know...I'm grinchy like that. But I cannot STAND to hear those songs. And anything by Babs and Barry Manilow at Christmastime....aren't they Jewish?!

Stop lying! You love Babs and I have the PMs to prove it!
Totally...why don't they sing Jewish songs like Adam Sandler?
I love many Christmas songs, and one of my favorites is "I'll Be Home for Christmas." I love Amy Grant's version. Also, Amy Grant's "Grown-up Christmas List." Her song "Heirlooms" makes me cry, since that is the song we used for dh's dear mother's tribute DVD. It isn't just a Christmas song, but it is on one of Amy Grant's Christmas albums.

O Holy Night gives me the chills. It is so beautiful!!!
It's gotta be Silent Night, though there is a lot of Christmas music I love.

I cring when I hear "Christmas Shoes' but I digress...
My mother is a self-proclamed Christmas Nut...she now has 8 trees to account for in her home and not little trees, 8 footers...all with a different theme, office has Patriotic, Kitchen has cookie cutters and gingerbread, etc. Her newest one is all Colin Cowie stuff and the tree is flocked with white and has hunter green and cintrine decorations...it is beautiful! Anyway, I think of my parents whenever and "older" song comes on because it was always playing in our house throughout the month...My favorite? Anything by Josh Groban!
