I heard on the news yesterday that with the Gas and Oil companies stocks loosing big, don't expect gas to continue to go down. It will start going back up.
My fear is that if it does continue to go down then the powers that be will put the gas and oil on the back burner and not seek alternatives.

Isn't it sad that we're so excited that gas is under $3! I remember getting all bent when it went over $1.50 and it wasn't all that long ago!

according to gasbuddy.com -there is a station in my area that has it for 2.99/gallon! The most I have seen is still around 3.65/gallon. I'm in South Carolina where gas was becoming hard to find due to Ike. Nice to see stations getting gas and having the prices going down.

we are at 2.89 a gallon here in MID-MO. but about 2 hours south of us they are at 2.69 a gallon
