Two students at my school....one entering first, the other entering 3rd......They just lost their mother. Their father strangled and killed their mother. She was found sometime this morning. I am heartbroken for these girls. Their mom was a great mom who worked 2 jobs and did so much for the community. They were everything to their mom. Please say an extra prayer for them tonight.
Steubenville police said a mother-of-two found dead in a home Monday morning was strangled.The body of Chandra Wilkins, 31, was discovered around 11 a.m. at an Oakmont Avenue home in the Hilltop section of the city.Soon after her body was discovered, police arrested 33-year-old David Turner in connection with her slaying.Police said Wilkins and Turner previously dated each other."The
two people know each other," said Steubenville police Chief Bill
McCafferty. "This is not a random thing like you have in a lot of
cities."Friends said Wilkins was a kind person who worked two jobs and was very active in the community.Turner is being held on $1 million bond.

I will definitely pray for them. I'm in tears for them. How can this keep on happening? this story just brings back bad memories of my own past. In February 2001, the father of my two sons stalked and tried to kill me. My sons were only 6 and 11.
