 Well, it says they are closing 600 company-operated stores.  The stores on that list are only the stores closing that were operated with a partner.  I wouldn't be too sure they aren't closing any in Washington, Trish.  600 is alot of stores!

 Yep, only 19% of their stores are closing and the ones posted are THIS month! Gives you an idea of how many Starbucks are out there!

Personally, I prefer Seattle's Best myself but since they're BOTH from Washington, what's a little local competition!? :P

 I love my starbucks, back home they were on every corner. Here I think there are only 4-6 which considering the size of the city, thats not alot.

 we have 6 on one street here.  3 of which are on the same block.  i loooooovvvvvvve me some coffee so im happy theyre everywhere, but i wont be suprised when some of them close.  my friend just had a new one built in front of her neighborhood, shes elated!
