 my sister in law had her pocketbook taken out of her home! it had her camera in it that had some very special pics on it. she posted an add in the paper offering a reward for the card or even just copies of the pics well the fool that stole her purse took the bait sent the card in the mail with a paypal address for her to pay the reward untraceable, but when she uploaded the pics the thife hadtaken pics of thier children and thier self it was her neighbor! needless to say she got her purse back and caught idoit because he was so greedy he couldn't pass up fifty bucks!lol

 That's beyond awful!! To steal out of a stroller, you really have to be pretty low. I hope he looks at all those cute pics of your kids and is absolutely wrecked with guilt. {{{HUGS}}}

As a fellow scrapper, one of my biggest fears is something happening to my camera!

 I feel for you. 

I got bumped walking toward my cousin's wedding and got knocked down.     The woman who 'helped me up' slipped my camera right off my wrist!    Since I was scraped up bad I was more concerned with that and it was far too late before I realized my camera was gone.

There are some really rotten people in the world and they will get their turn one day.

 I'm so sorry to hear this! I know this has to be gut wrenching!

Did you happen to file a police report? I would also check your local pawn shops if you have any -- you may be able to find and reclaim it. It's worth a shot at least. I'm quite sure he'll rot in hell.

 Ohh that is just plain rotten and wrong.  What a dirty rotten arse. it is awful to feel so violated. i don't know what you are looking for but my kids bought me a little Nikon cool pix for xmas and I  LOVE this camera. I find myself using it now more that my big camera. It has great ratings, is so small (fits in your pocket ) and does some amazing stuff. I have been totally blown away by it honestly.  they got it at Sams for under 200. you might want to check it out.

I love my Nikon Coolpix P5100 for a point and shoot... I have always used Nikon coolpix cameras and have no complaints. They have a variety in all different price ranges.

Also the Canon Powershot has great reviews.
