That's kind of creepy, actually. But I'm glad she's being treated like a goddess - that could easily have gone the other way!

Definately creeps me out a bit too.. I was trying to find something online because I'm curious if they share a brain as well?

The article that ran in my paper referred to it ias craniofacial duplication. I don't find it extraordinary (like wow), but rather incredibly sad. This is much like the Indian girl born not too long ago that had the eight appendages.
Can you imagine the psychological effects if they are worshipping her? That can't be good either...to think that she would not have been special if she weren't abnormal?

I find it extraordinary in the medical sense as diprosopus (crainofacial duplication) is extremely rare! Since 1884, there have been only 35 reported case in the WORLD! Currently, the most widely accepted theory for the formation of conjoined twins is incomplete splitting of a single embryo between the 13th and 25th day after conception. 1 They share the same brain and body.

Trish ~ It's all fun and games until somebody loses an EYELET!
I wonder if her brain takes her vision from two sets of eyes and makes them into kind of a panorama view! Possibly a blind spot in the center. Amazing.
