Since it's just me and DH, there is NO BAKING in this house. Neither one of us needs it.Between all the crap the girls bring into work and what his postal customers leave him as his "holiday tip"(which gets tossed out if it's fattening) we have a hard enough time staying away from it all.
mmmmmmmmmmmm..... is right! LOL!I usually participate in a cookie swap each year. So, this keeps the variety comin!
Have to make Ginger cookies and Wedding Cookies!!! This year I've seen 2 others that I'm going to have to try...triple mocha and peppermint swirl...

I always make sugar, chocolate chip, reindeer ravioli, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin. I then add a bunch of new ones to those each year and if I really like them they get added to the list for next year.
I have a few I make every single year without exception, but I always find at least two that I want to try and we have an awesome cookie exchange in our neighborhood and everyone brings five dozen and leaves with five new dozens (one each of five types) and it is wonderful!
OMG! LMAO, Amy!I don't even know what they are, but with a name like that, they must be worth a try!

I don't bake Christmas cookies. I might this year, since DD might be old enough to enjoy them.
Hubby does the baking in my house!! And he does sugar cookies and SnickerDoodles!

I make the same ones that my mom always made: Springerles, Buckeyes, Cut-out cookies (my mom calls these Mazola Corn-oil cookies), and then a friend and I make gingerbread together. Yum!

No option for not baking any cookies.
I hate baking cookies. I would rather make a full turkey dinner than make a batch of cookies.

My whole family frowns upon me if I try switching it up!! So... every year I bake about 400 Mexican Wedding cookies!! Now, that's work for these boogers to pop them in their mouths one right after another!! And of course, I have to bake Snickerdoodles and M&M cookies!! I burnt myself out on Snickerdoodles, but I still love an M&M cookie! I always buy the Holiday package, so their red and green!!

When I have Christmas with my family (every other year), we have to have certain ones, like Christmas tree butter cookies, brown sugar shortbread, oatmeal raisin, pecan balls, and iced sugar cookies (that's my recipe). And my mom makes this WONDERFUL cherry date nut loaf. Occasionally when I have time I like to try making a new recipe. DH's family doesn't make cookies and they really are not big cookie eaters, so I suffer.
Have to have oatmeal raisin, peanut butter and chocolate chip. Last year I added two new ones, Rolo Cookies (recipe from our very own FairyMouseMom) and chocolate crinkles. Both were awesome, and will probably be made again for this year.
