Chocolate Covered Cherry
A group of us went wine tasting this weekend. In the Carneros region of the wine country every year at this time they have what's called "Holiday in Carneros". You pay $25 a person, get a glass and the opportunity to taste at over 15 wineries. They often include food, barrel tasting, music etc. We went to 7 (the most we've ever been to in one day). We had a fabulous time! Here is a pic of the group of us. From left to right is Devin, his mom Jan, myself, Robin (Lauren's boyfriend), Devin's sister Lauren and Kelly (Lauren's friend). Later that night Devin and I met his father and friend in San Francisco for a fun night on the town. It was my first time in Union Square and that was gorgeous. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of that.

Fun, fun, FUN! I l loved wine tasting trips while I was stationed in Sicily! I'm jealous! And the weather looks beautiful too! Glad to hear you had a great time!

Thanks! We always have a great time going wine tasting. There are still a lot of wineries in the area that I have never tired let alone heard of. So there will certainly be many more trips like this.

Shannon ~ The wine is to die for over there!! I remember once a month the older villages and towns would have a line of cars waiting at a "gas station". Actually, it was house wine being sold in bulk! It totally amazed me to see them pulling out milk jugs and water containers of all sizes from the back of their cars to fill up while they were there!

Kay its worth it to plan a little vacation to come out here and stay in the wine country and do some tasting. If you ever do you'll have to let me know because we'd love to show people around :)A few more pics and I'll leave you all alone. Hopefully I'll get these printed out soon and they'll inspire me to scrapbook again!!
