Has anyone tried cutting it with chipboard with success? I didn't realize it was supposed to cut chipboard, thought it would break the blade.
thank you shannon!

From what I have read you can use thin chipboard (like ceral boxes) and make 2 of them and then glue the together. I haven't tried it, but they says it's working.

I went to the demo of the new Design Studio at my LSS last week and they're the ones that told me one of the advantages of the Big E is that it will cut chipboard. They've use the width of chipboard that comes when they buy paper......................it apparently has something called multi-cut that will take it back to the beginning and cut it again..................so it does it in multiple cuts but without you having to remove it from the machine, so you don't risk putting it back in the right place. Lots of people on the Cricut chat board are making board books and stuff.........................it's pretty cool!!

I have used cereal boxes to cut it with no problem. Put the multi-cut feature on two. You need a sticky mat for it to work or the box will move on you.I love my expression, I have 13 carts and 3 more for Christmas. If you go to the cricut site, there is a rebate form if you buy two carts in December you can get a free one but shipping is $15.
