I don't think I'm going to be swapping much anymore. I'm spending way too much money and I haven't used any of the swaps.. It's going to be a while before do anything again and the postage going up again...Ughhh!!!

I am finding it very expensive here! I like the cards, recipes, or themed kind, but just for paper...I can't. I am also still waiting for some swaps from last March.

school takes up so much of my time that i just don't have enough time to host more than i am or participate in more than i am.besides, i think we've all accumulated too many swaps and need some time to use them up before we dive back into anything...i know i have 8 big totes of them alone lol.

yea i am getting there Wendy... I have 4 big totes of them, but these things ar pretty big. I am trying to use a lot of my swaps... I have a box full of them matched with pictures for the rest of my 2007 pictures... just have to get going on them..

I'm in pretty much the same boat:Tired of waiting The last two swaps I joined were an exception (kudos Laura and Wendy!)Tired of the double standardsThe cost is just too much. I'm going to have huge medical bills to pay for my DD this past weekend and more to come as they are still trying to figure out what is wrong with her.I am having fun using them up though!

I have over 300 swaps sitting in totes, I have not used them in months. The cost of paper, postage and time!!! Also, the swaps are sometimes put out so far, and if I sign up for a swap - I sorta want it right away. My swappy days are over for now. I also wanted a brake - seems all my evenings were spent on swaps, with 3 kids, I need to put my energy in other places.

yeppers, 1 or 2 isn't bad once in a while, but i'm glad that i'm not into them like i used to be. it's not really fun when it turns into a huge job instead of a hobby. and i need to put my time and energy into school rather than swaps. priorities lol.

Yeah, I think it's best to try and use what we have. For me it is all the above...too expensive, and too long to wait to get them back.Shelly

Yup...too much of everything listed above....except..I have to admit that I do not have a lot of swaps waiting or lying around. I only sign up for what I really, really like and want and need. The expense is kinda crazy too. But I love getting the swaps and learning from you gals. I pretty much stopped a long time ago. With the exception of Laura and WEndy's swaps now and then!
