Hey, Becky!  Get the feeling people are swapped out?  I think I might start a swap in a month or two for this summer, when I have a chance.  I have some paper I got on clearance that I love and I want to have items that will match it...kind of a color-based swap...not a product one.  What do you think?

I have been scrapping with some of my swap stuff...will have to post some.

I miss Wendy!  Where are you girl?  School wearing you completely out?

WOW!  There is someone here!  Hey Laura!

Yeah, I think everyone was on the downslide even before they got ripped off.  Let me know when you decide to do one and I'll take a shot at it.

I haven't scrapped a layout in months.  I have done some altered organizer things by Bare Elements and a few cards but I've just been crazy busy.  We took a group of 15 kids to Atlanta this month for the National Invitational Jr. Theatre Festival sponsored by MTI and now we are knee deep in three productions and our school tours.  To top that off, we are going to be getting a building of our own!!!!  We have to rennovate it and be out of our leased space by June 30.  I don't know how it is all going to work.  We picked the worst time to launch a capital campaign!  The building is just too good to pass up, though.  Almost twice the space we have and NO support post in the middle of the new stage!!!!

I miss Wendy Darling too!  I remember those school days, though!  UGH!  Maybe when she's all smartened up she'll hang out more!
What about it, Wendy??

Wow!  You are busy!  I am in the middle of co-directing our school musical.  We are doing "Grease!"  Kids have been wanting to do it forever, but with our conservative community, it was always a no.  I found a school version that is massively cleaned up, but still has the fun of the 50's and the same basic story (minus Rizzo getting pregnant, of course).  I have no problem with the original version, but the powers that be, do.  Oh, well.  Unfortunately, we have had 6 snow days this month (4 last week) and have missed a ton of practices.  We are going to be under the gun to get this baby on the stage by March 6th!

Dude!  How fun for you and your kids!!!!! We did the same school version (from Samuel French?) a couple of years ago!  I've got pics if you want to see them!

Yes, it is from Samuel French!  Please share the photos!  Question...how did you deal with the car?  This is a big issue for us not having alot of backstage space and wanting it to look as authentic as possible.  I'm open for ideas...and we don't have a very big budget.

Hey there!  Here is a link to some photos in my gallery.  They don't show the car very well.  We went a bit cheesy because we simply don't have the space backstage or in the wings (really the same place) but our whole set was minimal so it worked for us.  I have better pics of the construction of the car and the car itself but I'll have to upload them.

 Hi Becky!  Hi Laura!

Yup...I would not consider myself swapped out...just put out by being ripped off and kicking and screaming when something went definitely wrong (which again I was right on calling those out on it as they disappeared with others loot)....

I am still using my swaps and love the ones that I did get back.  I would be up for joining in your reindeer games when you put swaps on!

I'd consider swapping if the swap was right.  :)

I wonder if we could make that into a game show......  "The Swap is Right"  Instead of Bob Barker, we could get Tim Holtz!

sniff sniff i miss you guys!!!! i'm sick of school and now it's just consuming my life and i havnt played with anything for months.  life has been hectic. my stepdaughter and grandson moved in with us in october and yayyy they are moving out on thursday this week. maybe me and the honey can finally get our lives back to "normal" lol.

just busy busy doing homework and i see all my swaps and just want to make something and it's horrible because i feel guilty just looking at them lol.  i graduate with my first degree in May then have to take the boards and i'm only going to take one class this summer so i'll have a little bit of a life anyway.  i'll have to keep checking and see what swaps come up, i'm a sucker for the summer ones.
