I have had several pm's about my swaps and swap stuff.  I was getting them ready to mail for saturday and woke up to the bathrooms full of water and the carpet in the hall, part of the bedroom, part of the living room, and both of the hall closets soaked.  When you walked on it it would come out of the carpet and was like standing water.  We had to get the city out to unstop the sewer--same thing happened last week but not as bad--get the guys to come out and extract the water, clean the carpets, pull up part of the carpet and run the big drying fans since saturday, come out today and replace the carpet pad and clean the carpets again.  So, needless to say, I have not mailed anything.  I am going to the post office here in a little bit and will get a few thing out to the people who have been asking for it.  I apologize and could have had those packages to you today or tomaorrow if our plumbing had not decided to do its own thing.  UGH!!!!  I will update later whose pkg went out and whose will go later this week.  Thank you for all of your patience and understanding in this hard time for me.  It has felt like one thing after another.  I hope things start turning around soon!!!  Anyway, thanks to my friends here who have been supportive and helpful and understanding.  That has meant a lot to me!

You poor thing.  Nothing is worse then a mess like that.  I hope you are able to get it fixed so it doesn't happen anymore!

i've had water come in the house in the spring...way more times than i care to think about and it's such a PIA i feel for you, cuz that sucks.
