Gail's Crockpot Chicken

I had posted this here, but somehow it got deleted (they used to delete posts that weren't replied to in the forums).
I don't know who Gail is, but I got this off the internet and dh says it tastes like a "fancy restaurant dish.". Probably the wine...lol
4-6 chicken breasts (I put them in my crockpot frozen.)
1 package of Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix
1/2 stick of butter, cut into tablespoon slices
Cook on low all day.
1/2 hour before you want to eat, turn on high and:
add an 8 oz. brick of cream cheese, cut into chunks
1 can of Campbell's mushroom soup
1/2 cup of white wine (cooking wine is fine or other dry, white wine...this is optional. If you don't want the wine, add a 1/2 cup of chicken broth)
Stir until the cream cheese melts and cook off the wine. Meanwhile, boil noodles, spaghetti, or rice to serve this over.
Easy, peasy, and so good!
