Greek Turkey Burgers

This is one of my freezer meal recipes, but they are pretty simple to put together anyway!

1 lb. ground turkey

1 cup feta cheese

1/2 cup olives sliced (kalamata are the best, but black ones work, too)

1 tsp. ground pepper

1 tsp. oregano

Mix well together and form into 4 patties. Grill and enjoy! :) (If you want to freeze them, put the patties in a ziploc bag with wax paper between them and suck out all the air as I explained in my freezer meals process thread. Then, you will have to thaw them before grilling.

This is for dinner tonight! :)  When it's too hot to turn on the oven, I cook on my George Foreman grill. Simple recipe and so good!

The feta and the olives add some moisture, because ground turkey can get dry.  If you like Greek flavors, you will like it!

Oh, yes!  I often just spread mayo on the bun, but tzatziki would be great (yes, I had to look up how to spell that. lol)!

I know turkey burgers are supposed to be healthier but agree about the texture and dryness.  But these sound good - not sure I could get DH to agree though.

Instead, I've started making ground beef sliders in my air fryer.  Love the smaller scale of the sliders and they are less greasy in the AF.

Thanks for this idea. We have never liked beef so only cook turkey burgers, which my DD likes often. I love the idea of the feta!

Glad I could help! :)  I like Carrie's idea of making tzatziki to put on them, too!
