I was looking for something new to do with pork tenderloin (was on sale at Krogers last week), and I found this recipe.
Roast Pork with Hoisin sauce
Put pork in a Pam-sprayed roasting pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper and roast covered at 425 degrees for 25 minutes (until thermometer inserted registers 160 degrees).
When pork is almost done, put the following ingredients in a small saucepan:
1/4 cup Miracle Whip (or mayo) - I used Fat Free Miracle Whip
1/4 cup Hoisin sauce (you can find this in the Oriental foods section of the grocery)
1 TBSP. Lime juice
1 TBSP. sugar
1 TBSP. Thai chili/garlic paste (also in the Oriental foods section)
3 TBSP. golden raisins (optional)
Cook and stir at medium temp. until boiling. Remove from heat.
Slice cooked pork and pour sauce over the top.
Man, was this good (and easy!) If you don't like spice, cut down on the chili/garlic paste. This had a good bit of zip too it, but dh and I like spicy food.
This sounds great - I'm always looking for good pork recipes since it always seems too dry for me!

I have a pork loin thawed out from my freezer to cook tomorrow. Perfect timing! I must go get the rest of the ingredients and give it a try. TFS

Sounds good, thanks for sharing
Forgot to add, I even made this in the crockpot once and it turned out just as good! The sauce wasn't as thick, but it soaked into the meat, making it so tender. ![Happy :)](./images/smilies/smile_16.png)

can you taste the miracle whip? I can't stand the taste of miracle whip. DH on the other hand loves it. He won't eat a sandwich if there isn't miracle whip on it. Other than that, this sounds delicious!

I made it tonight and it is yummy. My dh liked it very much. Not too hot either. I served rice, stuffed mushrooms and asparagus with mine. Tanya, no you cannot taste the mayonaise. I'm not used to cooking with those sauces but all together it was a little sweet and tangy. Just enough spice with the chili sauce.
Thanks, I'll keep this recipe!
