What do you put in your chicken salad? I've eaten Arby's and love their sandwhich. Love the nuts in it. I"ve never made any though...share how you make it so I can use my leftover chicken, please
Debbie
Thanks for those on my o ther thread. I didn't know there was lemon juice added. I need to get some celery. I'm getting hungry now.

Here is my favorite
2 cups cubed chicken
handful of red grapes sliced
1 stalk celery sliced
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tsp dill
mix 1/2 cup miracle whip (I hate the stuff but love it in this recipe), 1/4 whipped cream cheese, 1 tsp dill. Mix into chicken mixture.
Now I rarely measure anything, so I had to guess on how much I put into this. It may need more or less of the dressing mixture and sometimes I load it up with the grapes and celery. I love this!

grapes!! I knew I"ve tasted chicken salad with something else in it but couldn't put my finger on what it was. Thanks. I did make some per recipes on my hour of power thread...posted before I could get this one up, LOL, and it was very yummy. I added almonds and really like that with it. Had a toasted bread sandwhich with tomatoes. I'm sure to make this more often...don't know why I"ve not in the past, silly me! Perhaps, because we usually had no leftover chicken when the kids were all home?

I just noticed the cream cheese in the directions...OK, I'm keeping this one for the books along with Brandy's with the avocado.

Thanks, Jeanne! Yes, I do like Arby's. Now I have several recipe variations and since Dh and I now buy a rotisserie chicken often and it's just the two of us, I can use the leftover breast for salad.JeanneT wrote:This is from Copy Cat Recipes - says it is the "true" Arby's recipe
