Basket suggestion

I don't know about everyone else but I find when I'm checking out products and/or looking for hearts/vases for points, I'll put things in my basket that I've already put in there and don't remember. I think it would be really cool if ACOT could somehow link the items in our baskets to the item we come across as we're shopping. Something the says, "this item is already in your basket". I hope this makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll try to explain it differently:)

I think if you click on Add, then the little box pops up to say "You have added xxx to your basket" and at the bottom of the box it says how many of that item you have in there.

It does, but I think she's suggesting something to prevent us from putting duplicates in the basket so we don't then have to take the extra time to go to the basket & change the quantity; I've thought that would be nice too, but don't know how they could do it.
At least when I have duplicates I know it's something I really want, lol!

I don't mind it adding quantity, but on the paper side you can at least adjust the quantity and get rid of the duplicate product. In digital, if you accidentally put 2 in your basket, you can't adjust the quantity! I have found that I have to delete it entirely, then re-add it again to get the proper quantity. That part is a hassle. But I have to say, if that's the worst thing I ever encounter here, my whole scrapping world is problem free! lol

That's exactly what I was trying to say! I tend to have alot of stuff in my wish list and my basket. If I move something from my wish list to my basket (especially if it's an entire line of something) I get all confused!

I agree, it'd be nice to NOT add duplicates/triplicates/quadruplicates, because I forget to change before I order... it's not the end of the world, of course, but it's still a bit frustrating :P (However, now I've trained myself better to look, so it might not make a difference anymore! lol)

I ended up ordering two of a piece of paper one time. Not a problem for paper, but it did make me check how many I order of an item. I have several additional baskets and if you try to move something that is already in another basket it gives you a box which says it can't move it. I don't know if that happens moving to "Basket" where you will then check out though.

I've added those ideas to my list. I definitely will be able to have it do that on the item details page (the page with the cherries and such). Not sure if it can be added the the list/thumbnail view, it may slow it down too much.

I like that idea. I shop at another place that does that.

yeah one time I added a whole collection pack to my cart twice and forgot to check. I thought the total looked big, but I was in a hurry.
good thing I loved that line!
