An idea for ideas
I was driving home last night and was thinking about a LO to do. Then it occurred to me that I might forget it before I could get to it and how nice it would be to have a personal file here at ACOT (like the wish list spot) to put ideas for projects. You know, those half formed ideas we get. I would use this all the time. I know that I could just write it down in a notebook, but I would loose my note.

I store mine in a Word document because I always lose my papers and lists.

I thought that I would try this. Went to Notepad, typed in my idea, and saved it. Closed out the notepad. Then I tried to find it and couldn't. Where did it go? OK, I can see that this is not going to work for me. But, thanks for the idea.

I have not heard from ACOT. Should we take bets on whether or not I will. Or that they will make a place for us to keep our personal LO notes? ACOT, are you listening?

Re: An idea for ideas
We have a thread here that some of us have claimed our spot on to keep our scrappy to-do lists. I think Sus came up with the idea a while ago and I still use mine. Here is the link:

I've been bugging my husband to build an app for this type of thing so I could carry it around on my phone, shop for stuff I need, design while waiting in line, etc. So far I just carry around a notebook.

Sometimes I carry a small notebook and pen. Even just a pen is not easy to carry around.
I always carry my phone and use an app called "quick memo". Just open and type in your ideas. Open another section and carry shopping list or weight ; blood pressure from your dr visits. It's SO useful!
