TIPS and TRICKS Border Punches
For my tips and tricks, I wanted to share with all of you a little love for border punches! If you wander through my gallery, you will be hard pressed to find a layout that doesn't have at least one of these totally on trend punches used, and on most of them, there will be more than one! I absolutely love the look that a simple little border can add to a page!

I find myself reaching for fewer embellishments, when I layer punched edges

One of my new favorite things to do is add interest to a paper by layering a punched border of the same paper over it, as I've done on these layouts!

And sometimes, I just can't help myself, and I use a different punch for every sheet of paper!

As you can see, I've become a little addicted to using border punches...how about you?

Oh, me too. They add SO much to layouts and cards. I bought a shoe bag holder that hangs over your door to hold them in, thinking I'd NEVER fill it up-- oooppps-- now I have 2 punches per slot!

TY for the tips. I never thought to use a punched border of a pp over the same pp. It looks great. Love all your examples.

have you had much success with the border punches that also have the corner punch? it appears that you have to have paper that is a set size...anyone else have that problem??/

If you want to punch around a whole sheet, yes, but it goes up in increments... 3.25", 5", 6.75", 8.5", 10.25", 12". I've done that but I've also just punched one corner and two sides and cropped it like this (the light blue box in the bottom right corner):

and I've also just punched the just corners without the edges, like this (title box):

After you play around with them a bit you get the hang of it and the results are awesome!

I LOVE your examples...I know the two page layout totally stood out to me for the borders! Thanks for the extra tips with the corner punch! I haven't really been patient enough to use them on a whole sheet, but LOVE what you've done with them!
