by Kim EdwardsI've been struggling my way through this book for over two months. I was only able to read one chapter at a time, which is unusual to me. It's not that the book was boring, more that it was fairly depressing and not very cohesive. When I checked it out of the library I knew it was a collection of short stories, but the jacket description led me to believe those stories are linked in some way. They aren't. Not that I could see anyway. Other than that each story dealt with a relationship, and was usually from a woman's point of view. All of the stories in this book were depressing, without fail, not a single one had a happy ending. And they were all very weird stories, very unique events told in a mystical manner. All very interesting, just hard to read as a body of works.
