 This is another one of James Patterson's jointly authored books--this one with Michael Ledwidge. Along the same lines as his thrillers with Alex Cross, this one follows a detective in NYC as he tries to stop a psycho killer. It was a good page-turner and you grow attached to Detective Mike Bennett and his houseful of kids.
