Bowl Full of Cherries

Is a pattern developing?
I was thinking this morning, while getting ready for work (my best thinking is done in the bathroom), about books I've read lately and what has been happening in my life while reading then or shortly after finishing.

Back in December, I read a couple of novels that dealt with death of a loved one and all its repercussions--good and bad. Then in January, I lost 2 friends to cancer. I read Saturday Morning recently which deals with homeless people and the hope they find and am now reading Breakfast at Sally's which is written by a homeless man. Do you suppose this means that God is going to bring me the opportunity to know some homeless people? Or will I become homeless? The one thing I've realized in this reading is that we're all just inches away from experiencing some tragedy in life and we'd best prepare ourselves to deal with it.

What are your thoughts on this or how what you've read lately works into your own life story?

That's interesting.  I can't say I've ever noticed that happen to me, but I'll probably pay more attention in the future.
