The size of my signature? What would that have to do with it saving? And how big can it be? It's one word. Unless you mean the picture, which is the little pirate smiley, which CAN'T be too big.

Just wanted to say that these phpBB boards always change words. Try some others, and you'll see what I mean. if you type s-x, it will translate it to something else, too. It's inherent in the board, not a customized thing.

I meant the pic, D. I do not know why It will not save the word, unless it is a "bad" word. Changing a$s to donkey, I do not know, I haven't had it change any words on me yet.

Can I do html in here? That's how I was adding my picture. Yeah, and the word thing is weird, because it's just "Arrrrrgh" and it shows up when I go to my profile settings, but the siggy that shows up on my posts is the old one. Yeeeeeeeeahhhhh, clearly there are some bugs that need to be worked out.

did you change it from this new user control panel? I know I changed mine on the old board expecting it to pop over here and it did not...so I came and played with this one....

Posts and signatures, with this new board, can't be html. This new board uses what is called 'bbcode' which is kinda like html. You don't have to worry about any of that though. You can use the Rich Text Editor to do the formating and inserting of links and images.

About the filtering, there isn't a way to turn it off for the private forums. But you can turn it off for your self everywhere in the User Control Panel.

Yes, Tracy sent me a note pointing me in the direction to turning off the filter....we'll see how that works, but what about the signature thing? And if we can put images in our siggy, why isn't mine showing? Should I just put the path to the image with no <> or ""????

And, yes, Sus, I changed it in this forums settings.

Hmmmm, did you know you can access the old forums "Settings" from in here???? I didn't. Now I do. Apparently it's "Control Panel" not "Settings" for this magical place (insert suicidal smiley here - speaking of which....why isn't there one of those?).
