Love the filmstrip inspo--I've had these 49 & Market acetate filmstrips for a while. Nice to put them on a project. Used some clear gesso to apply, so that got me in a mixed media mood.

This is a really cute idea, but being that I'm not really a card maker to begin with, AND my layout and stamp set is completely Christmas-themed, I think I am going to skip this step.  I don't want to mail someone a Christmas card in February... I did find some OLD paper in my stash- MME 6x6 for the hexagon background.  Tiny metal key trinket on the mini envelope . The bitty letter inside says "Hello, friend". Funky fiber across the bottom and torn cork trim on the side. Thanks for a fun challenge. https://sbing.com/i/gallery2/563...

This multi-hue woodgrain from Stamperia Garden House collection caught my eye. The funky fiber is something I picked up at a bargain price, just thought I would add it as a border because it is fun and reminds me of some of the interesting fabrics in Taylor's stage costumes.
